What are some creatures that either come out of the gate large and in charge or bulk up relatively quickly?

I'm thinking things like:

Serra Avatar
Hamletback Goliath
Kresh the Bloodbraided
Malignus
Lord of Extinction
Multani, Maro-sorcerer

Omnath is a good one.

Forgotten Ancient and Sunscorch Regent tend to be a bit slow. They can get big but I've found its generally slower.

At what kind of ratio? I'm guessing you don't mean X cost creatures.

Off the top of my head:
Thromok
Chameleon Colossus (with activated ability)
Angry Mob (meta dependent, but have seen it drop at 20+ in 4 player games)
Keldon Warlord and friends in token swarm decks
Phytohydra (used with Pariah or similar)

Whenever I've played Forgotten Ancient he's gotten very large very quickly (often a 10/10 after a couple of goes round, if he keeps his counters). Note that he gets a counter when you cast a spell as well as when your opponents do

Marath tends to get arbitrarily large, but that's probably not what you are looking for. Doomgape is. Since you mentioned Kresh, Algae Gharial does something similar (but gets merely big with a lot of work, not YUUUGE). Splinterfright gets YUUGE if you play Hermit... otherwise Mortivore, Nighthowler,Bonehoard...

Heroes' Bane can get stupid quickly if you have spare mana.

Realm Seekers can get lucky.

Mindshrieker can grow crazy, but it doesn't stay big...

Some other good ones not mentioned here are Consuming Aberration, Phyrexian Dreadnought, and Knight of the Reliquary.

Licia, Sanguine Tribune basically reads:
RWB

First strike, lifelink

At the beginning of your upkeep, put 3 +1/+1 counters on ~this~.

7/7
in the right deck.

Consuming Aberration is another fantastic one!

Licia looks like fun! Dunno if it's quite enough to get her on the list but I'll make a deck out of her and find out! :)

I actually think she'd be more consistently useful as part of the 99 in something like Bruseikra or Breya . You do lose the whole general damage thing, but you also have to use up exactly zero slots in the deck to take care of her.
