Yeah, to be great, Interdict would have to have Split Second. Otherwise, they can just activate again before Interdict resolves.

I'd really like Interdict to have a static ability, "That permanent's abilities can't be activated while Interdict is on the stack." It gets it closer to the original functionality without making it uncounterable. It is a major deviation from the standard philosophy on errata, though, so I know that isn't happening.

I was lucky enough to see it Willbendered a couple weeks back against some annoying Oloro shennanigans. It's a beautiful thing to see two mana effectively do 100 damage.

But why would they shoot it off with a morph & 2 mana open on the table?
It's always a Willbender!!

Awesome play though.

So very true :)

And yes, the person flipping up the willbender must have felt so good to do that :D

I don't always use morph cards but when I do it's a Krosan Cloudscraper or Kheru Spellsnatcher

It's a Trostani win condition? Seems okay. Any of the abusive ways of playing it are super easy to disrupt/punish. Plus nobody gives the guy who plays Serra Ascendant into a tutor for this a second game- the same way that the guy playing Stasis and Winter Orb doesn't get a second game.

The last time I saw a Willbender so proudly announced, was when it turned a Bonfire of the Damned upon a player.

As for the player that got hit with it, he was a relatively new player who wasn't familiar with the older morph cards and didn't see it coming. He's very aware of the card now.
