Introduction:

This deck wasn’t Muldrotha from the start, but since I got her, it more or less evolved from a Mimeoplasm-deck into this version and in my opinion it is still perfectly playable with The Mimeoplasm as general.

This is kind of a hybrid-deck for both generals. It has small cantrip creatures that give you card advantage and in some cases allow you to discard reanimation targets. It is nuts With Havengul Lich, Phyrexian Altar and something like Merfolk Traders. It works well with Grave Pact-Effects and an old version of this deck was built around that mechanic more with cards that give you tokens when your creatures die, but I didn’t want it to be that excessive.

Reanimation targets are Gin-Gitaxias who can come as early as second turn, which is ridiculous, but possible. Other targets are Sheoldred, who fuels the engine or Kokusho or Noxious Gearhulk, but you don’t have to play like this.

You can also just have some fun with the Primordials, Lazsav, Dimir Doppelganger, and so on, cherrypicking some stuff from the opponents and see how it turns out.

For some reason I don’t like playing Terastodon, Consecrated Sphinx, Craterhoof Behemoth… that may sound like doublestandards, but oh well.

I also don’t play Bribery or Gilded Drake. People tend to get really upset, when you steal their stuff, even more so when it isn’t dead yet. :D

So check it out.

Commanders:

Muldrotha, the Gravetide
The Mimeoplasm

Imagine goo in boots...

Lightning Greaves
Swiftfoot Boots

Ramp:

Sol Ring
Cultivate
Kodama's Reach
Farseek
Into the North (Thought it was a neat idea. I could also get Frost Marsh with it)

Tutors:

Buried Alive
Intuition
Entomb
Vampiric Tutor
Mystical Tutor
Demonic Tutor
Diabolic Intent

Creatures with graveyeard synergy:

Body Snatcher(fun card Use it politically to block something into something very nasty or just sacrifice it yourself at instant speed with one of the sacc outlets)
Havengul Lich
Genesis (not sure if it is still needed)
Body Double
Dimir Doppelganger
Lazav, Dimir Mastermind
Consuming Aberration
Sewer Nemesis
Dreamborn Muse

Reanimation targets:

Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur
Sheoldred, Whispering One
Sepulchral Primordial
Diluvian Primordial
Noxious Gearhulk
Kokusho, the Evening Star

Reanimation tools:

Beacon of Unrest
Animate Dead
Dance of the Dead
Necromancy

Small cantrip creatures:

Sakura-Tribe Elder
Sage Owl (one of my first cards I ever got...)
Owl Familiar
Baleful Strix
Vodalian Merchant
Merfolk Traders

Sacc-outlets:

Phyrexian Altar
Altar of Dementia
Ashnod's Altar
Spawning Pit (sacrifice something to get more to sacrifice...)

Sacc-triggers:

Butcher of Malakir
Grave Pact
Dictate of Erebos
Yahenni, Undying Partisan

Card-draw/filtering:

Sensei's Divining Top
Careful Study
Frantic Search
Sultai Ascendancy

River of Tears
Frost Marsh
Fetid Pools
Terramorphic Expanse
Evolving Wilds
Ash Barrens
9x Snow-Covered Swamp
7x Snow-Covered Forest
5x Snow-Covered Island

Cards, that I'm currently on the hunt for:

Polluted Delta
Misty Rainforest
Verdant Catacombs
Phyrexian Tower

Cards, that I'm considering to play:

Breathstealer's Crypt
Dust Bowl
Strip Mine
Wasteland
Phyrexian Revoker

Combo I decided not to play:

Necromantic Ooze
Triskelion
Phyrexian Devourer

What are the problems?

At the moment I’m stuck on defining which cards or strategies may clutter the deck or some strategies, or if the deck just fits into wannabe-competetive because of all the tutors.

I've basically stopped playing Genesis in any deck. Green's card draw is too good to make Genesis feel worthwhile, and it seems especially lackluster when you can recast your target with Muldrotha.

I'm a little surprised you're playing the sorcery ramp cards. I feel like the creature and enchantment ramps (ie, Wood Elves, Khalni Heart Expedition, etc) are way better for this build.

This is clever. I like this.

I've wanted to make a Sultai deck for a while. Both Mimeoplasm and Muldrotha are legends I want to build for, but their strategies are so similar I wasn't sure what to go with or how to differentiate them. Going with both and finding a decklist that services both is pretty clever.

Nice one. :)

I love Muldrotha.

My deck is currently running Second Chance but I have yet to make any use out of it... but someday I totally will and I'll laugh and laugh and laugh... and then take it out because its bad.

Mindslaver is also up for getting cut. Too often it just wins the game. And though 10 mana is a lot it doesn't feel fun to me.

So far my favorite card in the deck is Lotus Petal... weird right? Phantasmal Image is also pretty good.

As you said it, I tried to recall the times I didn't just dump it into the yard without ever using it and I remember just one game, where I used it once.
So I agree. I think, I will try to get my hands on Geth, Lord of the Vault. For now, I put Damia, Sage of Stone into it as a placeholder.

Good point. I'll work on that.

This is fun. I think I also have a Second Chance in my collection and right now I'm very tempted to just throw it in
