Although Ankle Shanker is called Knöchelkerber in German, we NEVER say that. That's because its English name instantly makes you a grandfather (or grandmother).

The German word "Enkelschenker" (which sounds exactly like Ankle Shanker) translates to "grandchild donor".

I am always a fan of trivia like this. Thank you.

Appropriate, even if not entirely accurate. It would totally be accurate if you had also cast Insurrection as well :)

I think that's appropriate at instances it's not. Also, people tend to get annoyed by my singing.

It can also be accurate, if, post FCT you activate Downdraft on some of your creatures that have been Lured. Even then it might not be accurate if there is some Spineless Thug who can't be bothered to kung fu fight.

Good one! :D

I'm calling Wave of Vitriol "The Flush" and Scrap Mastery "Ticking Death".

I wish Soulfire Grand Master had Flash. But maybe I'll call her Grandmaster Flash anyway.

I don't think I'm gonna call Temur Sabretooth anything other than Rescue Cat. Especially not after making Ephara's Rescue, a deck about bouncing my own creatures.
Fruit of the First Tree, is the tree, the fruit or the creature's death the one providing the revelation? Whatever I think is providing the revelation at the time's revelation.
Whisperwood Elemental can be Whispy Woods and if it sees play in standard will probably get a nickname. 'Cause its current name has far too many syllables.

He's old, a dragon and all his defining characteristics are under the rug that is the Bolas' evil twin vibe they've been shoehorning on him. That's right, WotC have spent this set shoehorning a rug onto someone. Where was I going with this again?
