My avatar seems to have survived, so there's one.

Oh, I fired my friends group, moved, got a new job, realized I hadn't built a new deck in almost a year, was filled with regrets, immediately bought the Lord Wingrace pre-con to build some sort of lands-based abomination.

:o Never got to do the song n' dance with ya. So... uh, welcome back, and hello! Nice to meet ya, sweet avatar (oddly, it makes me think more of Gene Shalit than those funny disguise glasses.) Question- is your favorite schtick to disguise your (hypothetical) love of punisher cards until it's too late to be awkward? If not, what inspired that?

First time I've logged in in about 7 months and came to post pretty much this! I'm building Windgrace with about 2 other new cards from the pre-con (judgement & the red retrace spell) and trying to find another reason to play any red spells except the new retrace spell! :)

How's your abomination looking?

I do love slow-rolling punisher cards, but the avatar actually came from being bored at work ([ur=http://www.mtgcommander.net/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=16143l]see this facial-hair-revolution thread here[/url]).

I'm having some trouble... usually I build from the land base up, but I'm unsure how many lands I need to play and how many color-producing sources I need. I'm gonna post a rough draft in a little bit.

It must not be on Photobucket. When they fully sold out to the advertisers they also made it so that forums and things couldn't indirectly link items (because it avoids the advertising that comes with "new" forum/blog links to images).

When PB made the switch, it seemed that 80% of the avatars here popped smoke (along with many of the other pictures on the site)

I have one (not from the Pre-con) that went with man-lands (including Magemarks, Zendikons and Genju) and an enchantress subtheme so I could reduce the creature count and run 42-45 lands. It's fun to see your 4/4 Genju Forest or a Gift of Paradised Raging Ravine auto-magically get buffed by Magemarks just by activating the manland.

Mine is Naya (Hazezon Tamar) not Jund (and first built a few years ago now), but it's fun and quirky without being steamrolled (sure, play WoG...I don't mind) regularly.

I, too, built a Lord Windgrace lands deck.

Mine's not great so far; it turns out that just playing lands will not typically win you the game.
