Just too much 'good stuff' stapled together. I can't wait to see it every game...

I dig it. I too am not fan of planeswalkers in general. This is a fun card and I'll have a foil.

I see this thread won. It was the better Rival Rivals of Ixalan thread. I tip my hat to hit.

And so this thread did bring down its crop-mate, and pass the trials to be anointed by Hazoret for the glorious eternal afterlife with the God-Pharaoh.

~~~
To me The Immortal Sun is weird: it's four disparate effects joined together with no connecting theme. I do get the impression though that The Immortal Sun is awesome to have and people want it.
I'm now inclined to start running Rakdos colors.
What's happening there? Is that printed on the original card?
A photo showed only the bottom half of captain's hook. Some site is improvising for the top half, that's not what the card genuinely looks like.
With Pirates, Dinosaurs, and Merfolk in this set, it seems to me there's a strong possibility for a Peter Pan/Lost Boys themed EDH deck.
Interestingly it doesn't say anything about your opponents *losing* the city's blessing. So everyone can have it. Also, ten permanents isn't exactly difficult...
That seems pretty good outside of 1v1 formats. Diabolic Edict isn't exactly unplayable.
