In order to be significantly specific, an FTV-Commander can't be a wish-list conglomeration of cards from other sets. Nor can it be a bland mixture of legends. Instead, it would need to target cards printed almost solely within the commander sets, and significant enough cards to be interesting to foil, and that would probably exclude most commanders, although such a set may include a limited few (two, tops) that haven't been foiled. In order to attract as wide an audience as possible it needs to include a few cards that have been attractive in other formats, yet still have enough cards that capture the flavour of the multiplayer format.

It is too early yet for such a set, and we'd probably have to wait until 2023 (10 year anniversary) for that.

All that said, here is what I think we could see in such a product;

Containment Priest
Grasp of Fate
Deepglow Skate
Mystic Confluence
Ghoulcaller Gisa
Ob Nixilis of the Black Oath
Magus of the Will
Fiery Confluence
Magmatic Force
Magus of the Wheel
Primal Vigor
Song of the Dryads
Stonehoof Chieftain
Blade of Selves
Command Beacon

Other candidates; Angel of Finality, Nahiri, the Lithomancer, Arachnogenesis, Chaos Warp, Tempt with Vengeance, Toxic Deluge, True-Name Nemesis...

Anniversary of what? First Commander pre-con was 2011 and first FTV was 2008.

I mostly agree. However, don't forget that FTV (as far as I know) has been the primary reprint method for Portal cards that can be introduced back to regular magic, which is why I included possibilities like:
Overwhelming Forces
Warrior's Oath
Three Visits

So we get it in 2021... that's still 4 years away. Plenty of time for the product to jump multiple sharks, create useless over-priced anthologies, and in some peculiar anti-environmental ethos copied by MtG marketing "geniuses" spin foil ultra-mythic chase cards of doom, while printing enough common junk to fill a small city's cemetery.

At least the consumers get what they want. Overpriced pieces of cardboard.

Me? No, I'm not bitter at all.... Just having a bad hair day.

That's awesome, I really hope it was planned. Even better pronounced "Toot 'n' Nail."

This is the most reasonable list I have seen so far. If we are to be realistic we should remember these are meant to retail for around $50-$100, you cant go packing it full of foil Dack Faydens and Cryptic Commands.

I think you get the arsenal command tower and sol ring, hopefully with OG art. There are lots of command towers and sol rings out there now, just not so many in foil, and FTV is a way to get foil printings out there, not regular printings.
Along the same lines I would hope they go back and foil up some commanders that dont exist in foil like the cards from the earlier commander sets. Nin has already been mentioned, but I'd also really love a Vish Kal in foil.

It would be like a $15 Dack Fayden. FTV Foils generally produce prices equivalent of regular pack non-foils, exceptions generally being cards that aren't readily available as other foils.
See: JTMS, Aether Vial, Mystical Tutor, Progenitus, Tolaria West, Dryad Arbor, etc.

Not sure, but i think they might not have the rights to use Tedin's Sol Ring anymore.
