Dusk
Destroy all creatures with power greater or equal to 3.

Dawn
Aftermath - Cast this spell only from your graveyard, then exile it.
Return all creature cards with power less than or equal to 2 from your graveyard to your hand.

Illus. Noah Bradley

Well ............ thats a new thing. But what the fuck was wrong with the split-card design?

Looks like they are using orientation as a visual reminder that the Aftermath mechanic side can only be cast from the graveyard.

Honestly, this layout looks atrocious. No room for art. Just... wall of text.

I'm digging the idea... but I have to wonder if this is the right visual. I'd almost rather they continue with dual-faced cards that "transform" as they go to the graveyard.

OR! find a way to do a single piece of art that works for both cards...

But I'll forgive the look if all the cards are as neat as this one.

Maybe something like this is the intended purpose?

Pfffft, what's wrong with the tombstone icon from Odyssey block?

That is, without doubt, the ugliest Magic card I have ever seen in my life.

And I'm going to have to get one for my Doran, dammit.

(pretend those cheeks are going green, not red)

That is indeed one ghastly card design... Who/What/When/Where/Why was not just a dumb joke then?

Clearly, the intent is to have the card stick out of the graveyard the way Necrachilles showed.
It's ugly nonetheless.

If they really wanted to "split" the card, I think something closer to the Kamigawa flip cards (with one illustration at the top and one at the bottom) would have been much less of an eyesore.

It's Bolas's plane. He's pure evil. He clearly designed these cards just to piss you all off.

It could go either way at this point. My money is on they do, but time will tell.

This was confirmed a while back; there are 4 different arts for each basic land type; 1 of those 4 arts is full-art, they are only the ones you showed above, and yes, they all have Bolas' horns in them.

Edited for clarity: The non full-art lands don't all have the horns on them, but all the full-art ones do

A pity, those Bolas' horns.
