Just an overall improvement. It'll net me the same amount of cards for the same amount of mana and without having to show two of my cards in 1v1. It then becomes much better in multiplayer

I'm also trying to fit a Wheel of Fortune in there, thoughts? Finally, what do you guys think of the deck, anything where you're like "Thats a little bit weird" or "That really doesn't work in this deck."?

I think it's a fine EDH deck. At the very least it's mono-red dragon tribal which is also cool. Honestly, I've seen much worse decks posted here and this deck in particular is well rounded and looks like fun. It might not be the most powerful deck I've ever seen here but for the theme and what you want the deck to do it looks good.

Tog, would you mind explaining the inclusions of Synod Sanctum and Cryptic Gateway? I really love the general and the list, but I'm just not feeling those two cards. I know Sanctum gets you CIP triggers again, but it seems sort of vulnerable (Krosan Grip or any well-timed disenchant can really ruin your day) - and Gateway just seems unnecessary.

As for additions, I LOVE Erratic Portal, especially here. As a previous poster said, 2RR to fetch any dragon in your deck, swing with it, and then put it into your hand seems pretty awesome. I also really like Claws of Gix since it can be fetched up with Hoarding Dragon and allows for multiple activations (good if you Brighthearth Zirilan's ability).

I saw Thran Foundry in your list; maybe Feldon's Cane for some redundancy? Or Elixir of Immortality for a reshuffle effect that doesn't go away (assuming you have your Hoarding Dragon around). I also thought Rishadan Pawnshop could have some relevance here, but I haven't played this list at all. Perhaps it's too easy to disrupt.

I really like the possibilities the Hoarding Dragon/Zirilan combo presents. If I were building a Zirilan list I might try to include an artifact sub-theme to get the most out of this, but maybe that's just me.

Phyrexian Processor could be a good combo posibility with Hoarding Dragon.

Oooh... I'm having (tangent) thoughts about Rishadan Pawnshop, Vedalken Shackles and a Lantern of Insight.

Krosan's Grip can be a problem, but I've found that it rarely appears in most games and even if it did, I would have still had to exile the dragons anyway (from Zirilan assuming I had no other outlets). If they don't use it, I rather take a leap and hope no one has any artifact removal when I tap out, or I just leave 2 mana open if I'm worried. The rest of the time Synod Sanctum usually ends up bringing back 3-4 dragons back into play and triggering that Pandemonium I just played

I'm going to get an Erratic Portal as soon as I can.

Finally, does anyone have anything better then Mind Stone? I like the arti mana-excel, but I haven't really been too impressed with the card.

Finally, removing a mountain for Spinerock Knoll and Deathrender for Steel Hellkite! OMG its soooooo droolworthy!
