It's funny you say Teysa Combo is only going to be your "fun" deck for edh. I play with her as my competitive deck of choice for multiplayer.

The combo is great...and there are a lot of spin-off combos that can be assembled as well for variety and flexibility.

Your deck isn't too back, but since you seem to be relying heavily on the combo aspect, and you're playing black (only the best tutor color in magic), I'd recommend upping the tutor count.

These are all the tutor-esque cards I play:
Demonic Tutor
Vampiric Tutor
Diabolic Tutor
Diabolic Intent (amazing in a deck with so many creature generators)
Beseech the Queen (jumps in and out...depending on space issues)
Shred Memories (don't underestimate the power of these 3 transmute cards)
Dimir Machinations
Dimir House Guard

These are often enough to get me the combo pieces, or just save my ass by getting a wrath or hate spell.

Next...a vital part of the combo is getting 3 white creatures. From what I saw, your only way to do that is with Spectral Procession. Now, I don't have time to write out the list of "creature advantage" cards in magic right now...but I strongly suggest you gatherer search for cards (mainly in white) that give you multiple creature tokens when played.

Here, I'll get your started so you understand what I mean:
Cloudgoat Ranger - CIP three 1/1 tokens.
Darius, King of Kjeldor - Whenever damage is dealt to you, put that many 1/1 tokens into play.
Waylay - three 2/2's at instant speed that go away at eot.

That's just a few...it's up to you to find the rest.

My last point for now, since I got to go, is work on your control set a little. You're gonna be spending time setting up your combo, politic-ing, and making sure you don't get your head beat in. So up your mass removal count. You're always gonna have creature advantage guys in hand so a single wrath to clear multiple threats to you should be fine. I think I play at least 6-8 wrath variant in my deck...most of which are flexible like Austur Command and Catastrophe.

Anyways...that's all I got for now. gl hf!

I would suggest a Kjeldoran Outpost and/or Sacred Mesa if you can find them.
Perhaps as Xan said, cards like Even the Odds might be helpful as well to get some white creatures in play.
Errand of Duty and Raise the Alarm would be nice too since they can go on the Isochron scepter if your at a loss of things to put on it.

Also, you can never go wrong with crypt rats.

Maybe look into Lifeline. It might fit in for general reanimtor type stuff, though it does work for your opponents too.

Well...there's either a lack of post, or you're having trouble finding token generators/creature advantage cards.

Here are some more for ya!

Creatures:
Cloudgoat Ranger (I see you have this one)
Darien, King of Kjeldor (I might have spelled this wrong before)
Knight Cpt. of Eos
Benalish Commander

Enchantments:
Sacred Mesa
Mobilization

Instants and Sorcery:
Raise the Alarm
Waylay
Decree of Justice (Nuts)
Martial Coup (Double Nuts)

Lands:
Kjeldoran Outpost
Springjack Pasture

Ok...that should get you going a bit. But there are a lot more out there...these are just some that I use.

Battle Screech and Sengir Autocrat are alright token producers.

There's Blasting Station as another combo with Teysa + Painter Servant.

i did some research after a couple of these posts, and i think i'm going to ease up on the reanimation and lay more into the token making, so i'm going to try march of souls, field of souls, luminous angel, twilight drover (!), battle screech, waylay and possibly spirit cairn if i throw in adequate discard. what reanimation spells should i keep in there? i know victimize is a really good card, puppeteer clique, beacon, order of the white clay(brings back the servant if it dies), and more than likely debtor's knell will stay... should i just leave it at that? i'm contemplating hell's caretaker...

Luminous Angel is absolutely perfect for Teysa.

I like leaving the Caretaker in, especially if you're going to up the token producers. Trade a Spirit Token for an Angel or Demon or the like? Yes, please!

Academy Rector into Debtor's Knell is pretty goood.

Darkest Hour can be Painter's Servant number 2.

Darkest Hour is kind of a non-bo. It turns all creatures black...but not in ADDITION to their normal colors (like Painters). Thus, sure it will work with some other sack outlet combos, but you will be unable to use Teysa's rfg ability cause you don't have any white creatures.

since my deck is quite tight on slots, I omitted Darkest Hour, but if you're concentrating on other sack outlets, then by all means play it. I might include it again if I change the deck up a little.

I've also tested Caretaker...sometimes it has been completely useless (no creatures in yard), and sometimes gold. I think it's prob worth the slot.

Fro, Shepherd isn't really good enough as he will rarely bring in more then 2 creatures. If you're looking for filler...he's fine.

You're right Xan, I didn't realize it needed to be in addition.

In my experience, Animate Dead is worth it's low, low mana cost: I'd keep it. In addition, Reya is just a beating. Those, in addition to the spells you're set on keeping makes seven reanimation spells to ten targets; how consistently do you fill your yard?

Also, I really like Diabolic Servitude. Had you considered it at all?

I only have a few choice reanimation spells that are good in other situations or are more efficient (read: reanimate more then one creature). Off the top of my head, I run these:

Makeshift Mannequin - instant speed
Dread Return - Flashback is always good, and the flashback cost is nice with my tokens.
Victimize - This is amazing if I've had my combo swept by a wrath or something. A single token sacrifice brings back both my combo pieces.
Debtors Knell - just plain awesome.
Pherilliblahblah Revival - That w/b hybrid spell. Brings my combo back from the yard where I can go off and remove all the creatures my opponent has gotten back with it.
Living Death - A wrath that brings my combo back.
Beacon of Unrest - Just plain good.

That's what I can remember, i don't have the deck in front of me at the moment.

The biggest problem I've found is that you DON'T often have the creatures in your graveyard to justify too much reanimation. This is because the deck runs so much non-creature token generators. Thus, your reanimation needs to be flexible.

Things like Animate Dead and Reanimate aren't too bad, cause you can at least pull creatures from other people's yards if you are lacking. But stuff like Servitude is too narrow.

you know what, i completely overlooked that card. it is indeed pretty good, especially if i set up pull from eternity on a stick....
i think i'm going to spend my next day off looking up some solid discard and the such, tweak the token producers and reanimation spells. you guys have been a big help...
this deck may turn into a fun competitive one. :)
